Thank you to our 2022-2023 Core Team for your dedication and commitment to Life Teen!
What is Core?
A group of confirmed teens who make a commitment to serve other younger teens in our Life Teen and Edge Program, as well as volunteers who help lead people into deeper worship of the Eucharistic Lord through music.
Teen Core:
Responsibilities:
As a Teen Core member, you will be leading table discussions with the Confirmation students. You will be responsible for this group for the whole year. Additionally, Teen Core is responsible for helping out in setting up and breaking down both Mass and the Life Night, signing in Confirmation students to mass, and participating in the mass as Eucharistic Ministers, Readers, etc.. People are depending on you so it is important to make sure you’re committed. See Application for more details!
Commitment:
- You are committing to attending at least 75%, that is 18 of the 24, Life Teen Masses followed by Life Night (4:40 PM – 8:30 PM). See Application for more details!
Incentives:
- 1st pick on any outing planned for the year.
- $550 travel stipend for trips we have planned (pending requirement completion).

Edge Core:
Responsibilities:
As an Edge Core member, you will be leading discussions with the 8th Grade students. You will be responsible for this group for the whole year. Additionally, Edge Core is responsible for helping out in setting up and breaking down both Mass and the Life Night, welcoming students to mass as greeters, and participating in the mass as Eucharistic Ministers, Readers, etc.. People are depending on you so it is important to make sure you’re committed. See Application for more details!
Commitment:
- You are committing to attending at least 75%, that is 16 of the 22 Sunday Edge Events and Life Teen Masses (4:40 PM – 8:30 PM). See Application for more details!
Incentives:
- 1st pick on any outing planned for the year.
- $500 travel stipend for full attendance (pending requirement completion).
