March For Life 2023:

Where: Washington D.C.
When: January 19th – 21st, 2023
What: In January, young people from the Archdiocese of Boston join hundreds of thousands of their peers in Washington, DC. This powerful event began as a small demonstration on the day the Supreme Court invalidated 50 state laws and made abortion legal through the historic Roe v. Wade decision. Join Seaside Life Teen as we peacefully march on our nations capital asking for the end to abortion in our country. This trip will also include times of Adoration, Praise and Worship, and Mass with thousands of other Catholics from across the country, as well as various sight-seeing opportunities of Washington, D.C.
Deadline for registration, deposit and paperwork: December 30th, 2022
1. Parish Liability/Permission and Payment (Coming Soon)
Mexico City Mission Trip (Can substitute for yearly retreat):
Who: Any High School student
Where: Mexico City, Mexico and Chalco, Mexico
When: Friday April 14 – Friday April 21, 2023
What: The trip will include two days in Mexico City as a spiritual preparation for the rest of our mission. We will visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the tomb of Blessed Miguel Pro. Following this time in the city, we will go an hour southeast to a town called Chalco to work with the Sisters of Mary.
We will spend four days in Chalco with Fr. Dan Leary and the Sisters of Mary. Ministering to 3,000 girls who live in “Girlstown” (Villa de las Niñas). These 3,000 girls have been taken in by the sisters for education and spiritual formation. They come from the worst of impoverished places around Mexico and have incredible encounters with the love of God through the work of Fr. Dan and the Sisters. Our days in Girlstown will include service to the families of the girls there and the girls themselves, as well as coming to understand their stories and their day-to-day lives. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Mass will be happening daily throughout our trip. Our purpose while serving in Mexico is to encounter Jesus in a deeper way through the intercession of Our Lady, to meet the poor and to serve them, and to encounter our own poverty and let God fill our hearts.
